Every so often — actually, every second conversation with a vaccine enthusiast — someone will tell a person with a previous infection to “Go get vaccinated, natural immunity alone is not enough”. It is well established, of course, that natural immunity is better in every possible way, so it is a bewildering statement. I personally like to respond by saying “Go get infected, vaccination alone is not enough”. The response I have received for that statement has been strictly negative. But it’s 2021, and the Overton window has been replaced by the Overton revolving door, so I suppose the next phase of reality bending is to be expected.
Say hello to super immunity:
Anyone know what the natural evolution of the vaccination narrative is from here? I don’t actually see anywhere to go from “the vaccination works best if you get infected after you get it”.
I guess it’s better than saying that once you’ve been “vaccinated” you will never have immunity due to original antigenic sin.
An interesting title in the Belgian press today. How do I tell whether I am sick from the virus or sick from the shot?
