Merry Christmas to all of my readers!

I hope everyone has a chance to rest and refresh with their loved ones. It has been a tough year for us all, but we will get through this together. Merry Christmas everyone!

And, while I am as far from a poet as one can be, I have prepared a short poem to address this piece of Christmas propaganda from the Canadian government:

Santa was angry,
his face had turned red.
They’d replaced his likeness
with a poorly rendered sled.
They told children he was boosted
to help spread their lies.
And told children to ignore
what they see with their eyes.
But Santa knew their tricks,
they were easy to spot.
And he would not play a part
in their treasonous plot.
So Santa made a list,
and checked it twice.
For he knew a day was coming
where evil would pay a dear price.
