Swarm intelligence
Emergent behavior, properly observed, plays a nasty trick on the mind. Consider the case of a flock of birds. Most casual observers are predisposed to accept that birds flock together. However, watch for long enough and you might think “conspiring together” is a better way of viewing the whole demonstration. The fact is that birds display remarkably complex behaviour patterns, yet birds have no apparent leaders.
As it happens, this is an example of swarm intelligence, where a few simple rules, when taken together, create a higher order of complexity. All it takes are three rules to convincingly simulate this effect.
Maintain separation: Avoid hitting each other.
Maintain alignment: Steer towards the average heading of the flock.
Maintain cohesion: Steer to move towards the average position of the flock.
If individual birds follow those three simple rules, then flocks form without the need for coordination of any sort. If other rules are added, like seeking food or shelter, then it does not take away from this behavior, but even more complex behaviors may form.
Some people have wondered why so many people have gone along with the pandemic masquerade, and this sometimes leads them to a logical conclusion: there is a vast conspiracy taking place that involves all sorts of nefarious plots. And indeed, there may be an underlying conspiracy that dictates the behaviour of many. Pfizer, and many of the other large players, after all, has a long history of engaging in conspiracy ranging from paying off health and government officials to large scale data manipulation. Coupled with the gross conflict of interest by media organisations who are, almost unanimously, being sponsored by large pharmaceutical companies. It is hard to dispute that there is some “there” there.
Yet, not every health official, politician, media personality, scientist, or union representative is paid off. In fact, the vast, vast majority are not. They don’t need to be. They just need to be following a set of simple rules that leads to medical fascism. Each profession likely has a slightly different set of rules, but I will explore doctors in general as one example.
For years, many have assumed that the over-prescription of benzodiazepines are due to kickbacks from large pharmaceuticals. But this is likely not the case. Many benzo prescriptions are actually for generic drugs that are not heavily marketed and do not have the kind of profit margins that would allow kickbacks to make sense.
It turns out a better determinant of the doctors most likely to prescribe benzos is time out of medical school. Doctors are profit seeking individuals and every minute spent researching is a minute less spent with a patient. Thus, doctors prescribe the drugs they are “comfortable” with despite a large body of research showing the negative outcomes from these drugs.
For a new virus, doctors do not have the luxury of relying on decades old knowledge. Many doctors also lack the ability to keep up with new research and statistical methods. Despite the phrase commonly repeated in advertisements where I am from, “your family doctor knows a lot about a lot”, the truth is that most doctors run to a back room to Google symptoms of medical issues they are unfamiliar with (you should be very uncomfortable listing the symptoms of any illness to a nurse before a doctor sees you…). Not all doctors are idiots, but the median idiocy of the medical profession is certainly on display right now. The bad doctors, of which there are many, then aim to go the safe route and treat people based on commonly accepted principles even if these principles are wrong. This is the safe route as it also avoids lawsuits for malpractice.
Another reason swarm intelligence manifests in doctors is medical licenses. One might imagine that licenses serve a useful purpose if you did not know that medical induced injuries lead to hundreds of thousands of deaths every year in the US alone and few licenses are stripped for malpractice. What 8licenses are effective at doing is keeping doctors in line. Many health authorities began threatening doctors as early as last year. Spreading “disinformation” (AKA going off narrative) soon became a reason to not only fire doctors from positions the health authorities have jurisdiction over, but also to strip or suspend licenses. As we have seen, few people are willing to defy vaccine mandates when truly cornered. That number would be even fewer if defying mandates would also lead to a permanent loss of livelihood. How many doctors would be willing to put your health over putting food on the table for their families?
Finally, and maybe the most important rule that allows for the current state of affairs, many doctors are openly political. When Democrat icons like Fauci tell doctors to stick needles in people’s arms, then it is sacrilege to disobey. Idols like him help drive the average to act the way they do.
So, in essence, there are three simple rules that lead to complex, albeit idiotic, behavior in doctors.
Politics: When political icons dictate the common procedures, many will immediately follow without a question. Many of the followers will be in authority positions allowing for rule 2 to be invoked.
Medical licenses: By creating single authorities that control career and income, the intelligent doctors will have a strong incentive to keep their mouths shut. The ones that shut their mouths then invoke rule 3.
Cohesion: If in doubt, move towards the average position of the herd.
Rule one is why the entire pandemic has been driven by Leftist talking points. Rule two is why so few doctors are speaking up. Rule three is why even apolitical doctors are insisting that the current methods are the only methods.
Get rid of the political icons and it all falls apart. Prevent doctors from losing their licenses for using alternative methods and it all falls apart. If the average position was not widely known, then it never would have even began.
These rules are not perfect and they could be simplified or expanded, but I hope you get my point. It does not take a large scale conspiracy to control entire professions. Maybe, if anything, a small one.
