If state sponsored discrimination must be practiced then why base it on the opinion and hunches of global "health experts"?
My question to everyone who likes infection control measures based on the "science".
Why not irrevocably commit to a specific discrimination measure and detection system?
Example: "Whichever group from [enter discriminating category] has highest infection rates for a specific week will have their civil liberties revoked for 1 week until their groups rate falls.
Because you know for a fact that unvaccinated can take many measures to improve their protection including getting vaccinated (if it worked) while the vaccinated cannot "unvaccinate" to reduce their susceptibility, they can only be sold the idea that additional vaccination will get them back to the baseline.
If an unchanging criteria was setup for measurement without caveats, the pandemic would end because people would learn what works and what doesn't. Instead, we keep covering our tracks and punishing the innocent.
Call it stockholm syndrome but I am growing fond of Fauci's merry-go-round of arbitrary pandemic measures. Watching people try to justify this ever-changing insanity is like watching psychopaths play charades and musical chairs at the same time.
But they are eroding everything that's worth fighting for, trust in each other, compassion for the (situationally) weak, the willingness to find solutions...we are going into a place where returning back will be very difficult if not impossible. How will be forgive each other for the atrocities we are willing to sanction just a few weeks ago but cannot anymore? People with a conscience will have to live with the guilt of participating in this and the people who knew better will have to come to terms with how they couldn't prevent the inevitable.
How ridiculous is this? Ontario firing people for not being vaccinated when Ontario's vaccine effectiveness measuring epidemiologist is saying vaccines don't work and double jabbed are spreading the virus?
