There is always a point of counter balance. EVERYTHING is tenuous.

Ford in his own words, openly,

"I spoke with Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau this evening about the ongoing occupations in Ottawa and Windsor. We will continue working together to support our police forces as they manage these situations. We both agreed this must come to an end."

10:33 PM · Feb 9, 2022

To reiterate/ summarize: the ongoing occupations ... must come to an end.

DOES THAT mean end by ending the mandates and creating and delivering a political solution? The skeptic in me says, nope, there will be a step forward and two steps backward, for awhile longer. Would be glad to see it all end this weekend with big celebration as the CONVOY preps to leave in victory. But, ya know, skepticism. Might just be my own defensive shield against dissapointments - yet again. I do expect in the long run we will win.

I believe that we will win.

I believe that we will win.

WE beieve that we will win.

FORD now is promising to make emergency measures permanent in law.

https://www.cp24.com/news/ontario-invokes-state-of-emergency-in-response-to-trucker-convoy-protests-1.5777340

“While these emergency orders will be temporary, we have every intention to bring new legislation forward that will make these measures permanent in law. We are taking the steps necessary to support our police as they do what it takes to restore law and order,” Ford said at a press conference at Queen’s Park.

Ford said the state of emergency will make it illegal and punishable to block and impede the movement of goods, people and services along the bridge.

Anyone who doesn’t comply, could face a maximum penalty of $100,000 and up to a year imprisonment.

“This will not impede the rights of Ontarians to peacefully protest. It will provide additional tools to help stop the illegal occupation of Ottawa and the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor,” Ford said.

Ford also said that the order provides additional authority to take away personal and commercial licenses of anyone who doesn’t comply.

... Meanwhile, an Ontario Superior Court justice is set to hear an application today for an injunction that would prevent protesters from blocking the bridge.

Why would they need to make it permanent in law if, according to the media and vaccine enthusiasts, the protest was already illegal? 🤡🌎

Same pattern for two years, at least. Now peaceful protest will be outlawed, given the covidmania concept of police-command discretion. Whatr we saw at Dundas and Yonge streets in reacton to a handfull of demonstrators may be expanded on way to broadly.

We've been deceived and let down in the past, so I understand a reluctance to believe it until we see it. This government has made skeptics of all of us.

You know, I was reading an article the other day saying Trudeau showed empathy when he said "the last two years have sucked for everyone"... The guy was vacationing without masks on the tax payers dime half the time and working from home with a heated blanket the other half. He has no idea and most vaccine enthusiasts have no idea.

The ones that do understand it was hard say "you made a choice and choices have consequences"... Yeah, like the choice my friend with a permanent vaccine injury that will undoubtedly shorten his life by decades made that led to him being fired from his job for not getting the second dose.

Very well said. I think that's why the trucker movement has gained momentum, because the laptop class are the ones who are terrified of covid but it's the blue collar workers, which make up the majority of the population, that have really had to pay a price. They couldn't work at home. They couldn't take a vacation to have a "Covid break" to the Bahamas. If unvaccinated they don't have the option of chartering a private flight to take their vacation. And the way they've been denigrated throughout the protest by the elites is disgusting.

I'm sorry about your friend. I don't actually know anyone severely vaccine injured, but my concern is for what's coming down the line. VAIDS? Heart issues? There is no longterm data so no one really knows.

Doctor Roger Hodkinson sent an email in reply to ONT PREMIER FORD's tweet about planning with PM TRUDEAU to end the 'occupations' of Ottawa and Windsor. Here is Dr H's fierce retort:

It’s O-V-E-R man!

YOU are the occupier – and YOU will be gone faster than we, your masters, can spit on you.

O’Fool >> Turdo the Younger >> Fat Ford

Poof! Gone! What consummate twerps.

Thank God for the truckers.

Um, I read Ford just went to a judge to freeze the gosendme money. If true, it seems they are going to try anything but open up to get it to end. Ford seems anything but conservative or willing to open up.

As long as the truckers stay firm, the "government" cannot win. As the last resort, a universal trucker's strike will shut down the economy.
