Can these people get any more ridiculous? I'm fairly sure that in the case of a nuclear bomb, nobody's going to be thinking about covid (or perhaps I underestimate the hardcore covid cultists).

calling 9-1-1 is ridiculous too. Are we to imagine that the phone lines will be working, let alone the call staff?

Honestly, I fully expected them to claim that blue masks can protect against nuclear fallout. They’ve imbued those things with magical powers. And wtf, you mean Moderna and Pfizer have no “vaccines” for radiation? I’m surprised they’re not at the ready with them at “warp speed” at taxpayer expense.

There is the rumour that Covid was a cover for nuclear exposure so maybe there's something in it

If the whole covid scam was a depopulation plan (which largely failed?) then maybe thermonuclear war with Mutually Assured Destruction is the contingency plan?

This. I think you are correct.

Here in my country the law used to state that in the event of nuclear fallout, those too exposed would be used as first responder clean up in the hot zone.

Since they're dead anyway.

It's strange though. I'm old enough to have had civil defence drill at elementary school, including the basic how to-s regarding water, dust, food and so on. My brother's too young.

Yet he is much more worried. Normally he's the levelheaded one. Can you imagine that people here in Sweden has been rushing to the pharmacies buying everything with iodine in it. Last spring people were hoarding toilet paper because of Covid. Gods forbid that there's ever a real crisis.

For a real horror story on radiation damage try reading Svetlana Alexievich's "Chernobyl Prayer" (alt. title "Voices from Chernobyl").

I live close to the CDC (both Atlanta campuses are within 5-7 miles). I'd rather die in the nuclear blast quickly than take the covid jab and die slowly. I'm sure the CDC will be targeted early.

I've not laughed this much in a long time, almost fell off my chair! It is the only response that this ridiculous advice deserves.

Anyone else being reminded of the british series "The Young Ones"? The episode where a warhead drops into their kitchen and the hippie makes a shelter under the kitchen table right next to it. But it's okay! By painting the shelter white, it will reflect the rays.

Maybe the BBC should sue the CDC for infringement?
