I have not read the book. I was a voracious reader of books in the before times. My attention span has tanked. I read substacks and tweets, but I am unable to settle much these days. I WAS a workaholic, and although I still fulfill my job expectations, the pull of the "battle for the soul of man" has replaced my workaholism.

Having said that, I have noticed a few things this week. The narrative DOES appear to be crumbling. There have been some MSM truth bomb/op-eds permitted. Tucker Carson, The Spectator and my local paper are just three, and in as many days.

Seeing the lunacy spelled out in one article or series of tweets, might just be the recipe for an awakening.

I hear that. I think I've read less than 5 books since the pandemic began. Probably 1-5 journal articles a day (at least) and a similar number of substacks. Very little time to read full books.

I would agree the cracks are starting to show. Those who were terrified of the virus, at least the ones I know, don't talk about it anymore. But we'll see if it's enough to stem the insanity come fall...

I've been making slow but steady progress on "Voltaire's Bastards: The Dictatorship of Reason in the West" by JR Saul. The book is long winded but its indictment of rationalism, as opposed to empiricism or common sense, resonates strongly.

would not be the first time a classic gets banned. Thanks for your review. I had read the Amazon reviews but refuse to buy it there. I stopped using Big everything if possible, so I am waiting till it comes at the store where I buy now.

Same, I started boycotting Amazon due to the insane profits it was making due to lockdowns, and the fact that it censors books it doesn't like, such as books critical of transgenderism.

A classic AND banned? Can

books still be banned, would be good

to examine this mechanism....

I ordered this book a few weeks ago (surprised that Chapters was carrying it) and just waiting for it to arrive. Glad to hear it will be worth the investment!

Thanks for this, much appreciated.

That's the part practically everyone disagrees with so far.

Good review, thank you.

Sounds like the perps are being let off the hook a bit though.

Maybe to get published one has to tone things down somewhat.

Thanks. I've done a stack including an interview between Catherine Austin Fitts and Dr. Peter Breggins who are not fans of the theory. Curious, (I still have not read it) to know what your take on their criticism might be, if you've listened to the interview? (Oddly no library around me has it.)
