I went into a used bookstore today. The crooked shelves were stacked to the roof with novels, textbooks, and reference books without discrimination. Almost every book in the store took on a life of its own with broken spines, torn joints, and the wayward markings of previous owners who took a pen or highlighter to important sections. Discarded among the treasures was a brand-new copy of Justin Trudeau’s self-aggrandizing fairy-tale “Common Ground”. For some reason, I find it highly amusing that most books ghostwritten for political clowns in the mold of Trudeau share a commonality in used book stores across the nation and, perhaps, across the world: they are always the least read book in the store.
He's an actor, a totally false and hollow person. That's why his response when he's asked a tough question is to not answer or run away. He has no capability of dealing with challenges that he has no platitudes for.
I can’t help but wonder what dirt they have on him. He acts like someone holding on for dear life to the hope that no one finds out about the skeletons in his closet, and the only way to keep the blackmailers from exposing him, or worse, suiciding him, is by him continuing to do their bidding all the while making himself the most hated man alive
I'm in Ontario and terrified of my government. I made a donation to the convoy and am now included in class action lawsuit, may have my accounts frozen at any moment and my assets seized, and may lose my job. What is happening here is absolutely insane.
I doubt he ever read a single word in that book, although he probably flipped through it to look for pictures. He is repugnant, a pathetic excuse for a human, and a disgusting hypocrite.
I guess the old adage about actions speaking louder than words doesn't apply to politicians. Or maybe it's not meant to apply to any of us anymore. Tweets speak louder than reality.
The whole premise of "minority rights" is fallacious from start to end.
A nation the society of which entails every citizen to be equal before the law in rights and responsibilities cannot have "minority rights" as said "rights" would have to take the form of privilege based on group category.
Example chosen for maximum enragement potential: genital mutilation.
Couple A belong to racial and religious group JM. In this group it is tradition to circumcise boys and girls at an early age. Outer parts of the genitals are cut off without any consent since the child is too young to give or refuse consent. This is made into a right for memebers of group JM, as defined by race and religion.
Couple B belong to racial and religious group WC/P. In this group, circumcision is only made for purely medical reasons, and phallo/gyno-plasty for aesthetic reasons among adults. If persons from this group cuts off parts of their childrens' genitals the couple is deemed criminally insane and are sentenced as criminals.
Either way you slice it, someone must be discriminated against based on race: the JM-group, as their tradition would be deemed a crime if the law applied equally, or the WC/P group as they may not perform the same acts as JM due to not being of the right race.
