They form a near-perfect bubble. The reporters who could get an organic story are all gone. They're not wanted: everything has to be consistent with the bubble's current narrative. That lends itself to ridiculous efforts and projects, as well as reversals that would be embarrassing to anyone with integrity.

Yes, they are ‘that out of touch’.... because if they are not, and people respond positively to that, then I am living in some f’ed up fascist alternate reality.

But remember, these self appointed gods can actually create reality. Yes, they can, as their predecessors did, by simply vaporizing all the liars, science-deniers, racists and haters who dared to insist that 2+2=4. ... The 💩memes will continue and escalate to utter pathetic absurdities, till Winston finally, truly Loves Big Brother. Aaah, The End.

In order to create humorous, meaningful memes, one must have cognitive flexibility. They do not have cognitive flexibility. I wonder if that flaw might contribute to their downfall.

Their ‘humor’ is also wrong. Very heavy handed and only funny to the true believers.

Look at the late night shows. The political jokes aren’t funny, yet the hand picked audience laughs uproariously, I can imagine guys holding up ‘applaud now’ signs for the audience.

This story from The Atlantic might fall into the “we’re moving the needle” category. A doctor who is an avid vaccine supporter had just been diagnosed with cancer and decided to get his Covid shots. His cancer then “exploded,” which caused him to re-assess everything he’s been telling people. This story is also linked on The Drudge Report which, as far as I am aware, hasn’t run any stories skeptical of the jab. That’s noteworthy as well.

…. I also just started my own Substack site. It seemed like a good time to join the fight.
