It's the logical conclusion of a totally debased, lazy, pampered, degenerate society. Who needs nuance, distinctions, choices, when we can have mobs, terror and bullying??

The thing I could see about Biden in the debates is that he simply would not engage with anyone on a meaningful level. Like he knew he was gonna win, and why get dirty. He played the understudy for so long, vice president wise, he couldn't wait to get into office and 'do stuff', the effect has been to F it all up as planned, I guess. And he made me hate aviator glasses, which I didn't think anyone could do. Creeeep grandpa bully, really jabbed?

Took no prisoners there!

Either all issues are political, as per your definition which is spot on and (worse) factually correct - or no issues save politics are political, which paradoxically is also true.

Any issue may be politicized. Let me give you the pefect example: in Stockholm (the city is ruled by a coalition of greens, neo-liberals and randian libertarians mainly, only they read Rand as a guide to identity politics) a few years back they had close to record snows. Not much of a problem usually, but this year the feminist party and femnists in the other parties had managed to wrangle a decision that snow removal be done in a feminist way.

Meaning sidewalks and bike lanes and bus lanes first, actual roads, streets and highways second. Guess where the snow goes when you plow a sidewalk coevered in half a meter snow, in the city? If you guessed on top of the parked cars and out into the street jamming it even more, you win.

It was total chaos for a couple of days and it wasn't until the major hospitals, firebrigade and civil defence had a stern talk with the mayor-equivalent that things went back to normal.

And yet they try every year to have "feminist snow removal".

One should always ask a person touting an -ism (no matter which one!) or a creed: "And how does that get potatoes in the ground?"

The answer will tell you everything you need to know about said -ism/creed.
