Instead of calling people names he should have at least had himself or someone from his party discuss the protesters concerns. A gesture like that would have resulted in a better outcome than what we have now.

In fact, they suggested they use that maneouvre in future and practice it! An example of how horrible human beings can be in general, and what kind of person is attracted to the RCMP.
But don't worry! The RCMP will investigate themselves, as per usual, and no one will face any censure or be fired. They will probably get promoted for having the right "mindset."
