I get really tired of those who defend mass vaccinations of EUA agents with zero followup and zero liability for failure of the product, who then say, “where’s the double blind study which proves your assertion?” It is really Orwellian. No wonder they’re rewriting “1984” into woke-ese. Orwell couldn’t have foreseen this foray into On-Beyond-Zebra unreality. It’s epic, it’s biblical, it’s “ARGH! [clutches chest] it’s…ack…ack..unprecedented!”

Eek. That's an embarassing mistake in the context of this article. At least it validates my point about the best peer review being public scrutiny ;)

You made such a good point about how the internet search engines and media removed the heart inflammation risk and were directly the cause of the 26 year old NZ man losing his life. It's so sad. Excellent fact checking the fact checkers.

I think social media was in part responsible for his death. In that they gaslit him that he should get the jab. Also being in the same small city as him I'd point to the University here as well and the total lack of alternative voices (except for a few of us in the letters pages) in the media. And those who think that they can make a buck out of this, and I know one or two of them.

Dunedin is actually at the centre of this shit campaign believe it or not.

James Maclaurin, Associate Professor, Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Public Policy, University of Otago, New Zealand

Alistair Knott, Associate Professor, Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Public Policy, University of Otago, New Zealand

Joy Liddicoat, Assistant Research Fellow, Artificial Intelligence, University of Otago, New Zealand

That's from the WEF document "Reimagining Regulation for the Age of AI:

New Zealand Pilot Project" (A NZ Govt agreement with the WEF from July 2020)

I studied under Alistair in the Computer Science department of Otago. And briefly lived next door to him as well. He's a nice enough guy, but I think he should drop this one like a lead brick.

Thank you for sharing. These stories make be sad but also energize me to try harder to do whatever I can since real people with real lives are at stake. I'm a little disappointed with a scientist I respect a lot, from your Country. Prof. Andrew Read. I wish he was more vocal, he knows what's going on, but I'm afraid the academic system has entrapped people. We are really in a big mess.
